Historical Habits and Concours D'Elegance
Here at G Hughs & Son we are excited to launch our new Equestrian products. From Concours D'Elegance to historically accurate reproduction costumes we can provide a habit to suit any occasion.
All our reproduction historical habits are created in keeping with original patterns and sympathetic fabrics to ensure a quality of finish and fit which suits both the show ring and re-enactment events alike.
A G Hughs & Son habit also includes the production of undergarments such as stays, corsets, and shifts, depending on the period, an essential element to the historical look.

The Side Saddle Nationals 2021
At the 40th National Side Saddle Shows, G Hughs & Son consulted with a client on a costume for the Historical Side Saddle Class providing the underwear, gloves, shoes and accessories to complete this ensemble.
We are proud to announce that this consultation led to the pair winning the Historical Side Saddle Class. Congratulations to Gillian Greenwood and Moretonhall Storming Norman.
